About our DIY Wood Canvas Frame

Sustainably made in Germany

Christian, the craftsman behind the frames has 15 years’ experience working with sustainable wood. Every single frame is handmade in the heart of Bavaria.

Assemble the frame yourself

You'll receive all the wood you need to put the frame together & the canvas keys. The only thing you'll need is a canvas stapler (only around $15) and a hammer. That’s it!

Locally Sourced

We ship every frame from right here in Berlin. All our maps, frames and packaging are made in Germany and shipped carbon neutral.

DIY Wood Canvas Frame: the story behind

2019: the year of the frames. Finally, a custom canvas frame made to fit your print perfectly! It's been a long process and we're very happy to have found Christian, a local craftsman from southern Germany, in Bavaria (or Bayern!).

We made these especially to fit your Awesome Maps large canvas print and we've tested it many times to make sure what you get is a beautifully stretched canvas wall art. The frame is made from sustainable wood and all parts are being used, meaning you get a unique handmade frame every time.

The canvas frame kit contains everything you need to put it together and it really couldn't be easier with the canvas frame manual!
